vom Haus Berg German Shepherd Dogs and Brush Creek Training Kennels is located on 20 acres just south of Stillwater and we have another 800 acre location in McAlester, Okahoma that is a working cattle ranch. We offer obedience training for all breeds, as well as some working titles.  We have boarding in Stillwater and basic group obedience classes in Stillwater and McAlester.  We raise German Shepherds and when puppies are available you can find them in our Current Litters section.  Our niche is the family raised and socialized German Shepherd with a temperament suitable for the family lifestyle.  We strongly believe that if you want a German Shepherd that will keep your family safe at night, then put them in the house with the family so they can protect and warn against intruders.  Keeping them outside is natural during the day but they can only do so much if outside protecting the grass. vom Haus Berg German Shepherd Dogs breeds excellent quality German dogs with a focus on "family" dogs as opposed to show dogs.  Please understand that the show dog breeders focus is to make sure conformation is correct and the working line breeders are ensuring we keep the strong working ability of the German Shepherd intact.  Both are EXTREMELY important to ensure the future of the German Shepherd as it was meant to be.  We need them both to protect our breed. We personally prefer a dog that still has strong nerves and won't run off when he needs to stand his ground and protect his family.  All breeding is an art and genetics sometimes are unpreditable.  We strive to learn more each time a breeding is done.  Please support the breeders that focus on the integrity of the breed whether show or work. Avoid breeders that offer many breeds for sale.  Avoid your local ads that are "experimenting" with breeding and this is a one or two time deal for them.

Our kennel building has 20 indoor/outdoor large runs that are temperature controlled.  All litters are born in our home and stay there until they start taking over the house.  At this point they are exposed to the ranch lifestyle which includes 4-wheelers, tractors, cattle, horses, cats, gun shots (mostly blanks so they get used to the noise), bicycles and all the chaos that children have to offer.
