Hello,
I bought a German Shepherd puppy form your kennel back in July 2000.
He was part of the P litter that a gentleman form Brighton, Co came
to pick up. I am very, very pleased with the dog. People are very surprised
how gentle and caring a ferocious dog such a s a GSD dog could be. You
know the stigma of the GSD, people are always a little nervous which
is crazy. He has been absolutely great when it comes to children, obedience
and his athletic ability. In fact I can leave him unleashed in my front
yard for hours and he will not run off, just sits in the yard and watches
all the people. His temperament is fantastic. What is really nice for
my wife and I is he prefers to be outside in the backyard rather than
in the house. Kane is very low maintenance dog never wines to get into
the house and never scratches the door. He loves to play ball, frisbee
and swim. I have attached a picture of Kane and I at Red Rocks Park
which is part of the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Please post
this picture to your Website. Let me know if there is any problem with
you opening the picture. Thanks Again for the wonderful dog!

Thanks Tony!!!! We need an updated picture of Kane!
I just want to tell you what great dogs you breed!!
Sierra took an 18-20 ft dive off a second story 4 Sundays ago while
we were training - there is a hedge surrounding the upper level, the
victim was behind the hedge and she plowed right through it at full
speed and, to my utter horror, plunged to the concrete below. She landed
on her feet, and when I got down there was standing shaking, holding
her front leg up and just looking kind of shocky. (You'd better believe
we are going to work on her slowing down when she can't see what the
lay of the land is due to an obstacle like this hedge.)
My vet is excellent and luckily has Sunday hours, so when it happened
we rushed her there and spent the next 6 hours with a ton of xrays being
taken, and them monitoring her closely. Thankfully, she only suffered
a very slight pneumothorax (which was almost gone in a few hours), a
severely sprained left front leg, and a skinned chin - miraculously
she had no broken bones or teeth and no other internal injuries. I slept
on the couch in the family room for 3 nights, waking every hour to check
her breathing to make sure the pneumothorax was gone and did not come
back. After one week in a splint and another week in a soft bandage
to support her wrist and a hyperextended carpal, Sierra is almost fully
recovered and only has a slight limp which will be gone in a week or
so. The only thing I will have left to work on is the spoiling she received
while she has been recovering.
The vet says the main reason she is ok is that she is a very strong,
healthy dog and in A1 top physical condition (by the way, he also says
she is one of the nicest dogs he has ever seen - friendly, very well
behaved, great conformation and a wonderful temperament - he brags about
her great behavior every time she comes there.) He and the other vets
could not believe that after that kind of fall she didn't have one broken
bone or tooth - she didn't even bite her tongue!
My deepest thanks to you for the care you took in making sure that
you conducted topnotch, responsible breeding. If Sierra hadn't come
from excellent stock I might have lost her and be writing to you with
a broken heart - instead she is laying at my feet as I write this!
Thanks Again,
Sharon Jordan
